1. Hammond’s Dark Chocolate Filled Mini Waffle Cones
Hammond’s Candies has issued a recall for its Dark Chocolate-Filled Mini Waffle Cones due to undeclared milk, which poses a risk for people with allergies. These treats were distributed across Washington, D.C., and 38 states via retail stores, the company’s website, and Amazon.
The affected cones were sold in four-ounce bags with UPC 6 91355 90513 5. Customers should check for the text “LN0525453 Use By: 03/20/2025” or “LN0525453 Use By: 05/20/2025” on the back of the bags. So far, one allergic reaction has been reported. Consumers can return the cones for a full refund.

2. Brookside Sausage
Dearborn Sausage Company recalled nearly 2,000 pounds of ready-to-eat sausages in Ohio due to undeclared allergens, including pork and soy. The products affected include two-pound vacuum-sealed packages of “Brookside Brand Fully Cooked Natural Casing Beef Wieners” with lot codes A0122024 and A0322024 and a sell-by date of Sept. 5, 2024.
No adverse reactions have been reported, but consumers are encouraged to return or discard the sausages.
3. 7-Eleven Fudge Brownie
Over 2,000 7-Eleven Fudge Brownies were recalled due to undeclared walnuts, which pose a risk to those with allergies. These brownies were sold in Southern California stores in 3.5-ounce packs marked with the lot code “Best By Wednesday 0911.” No illnesses have been reported, but customers should discard or return the brownies for a refund.
4. Kandy Cantaloupe
Eagle Produce LLC recalled its Kandy Cantaloupe due to possible salmonella contamination. The recall affects 224 cases of whole melons sold in Michigan, Missouri, Ohio, Texas, and Virginia between Aug. 13 and Aug. 17.
The cantaloupes can be identified by a red and white sticker labeled “KANDY” with UPC 4050. No illnesses have been reported, but consumers are urged to discard the product.
5. Great Value Apple Juice
Walmart recalled more than 9,500 Great Value Apple Juice cases due to elevated arsenic levels. The recalled juice was sold in 25 states, Puerto Rico and Washington D.C.
The affected product includes six-packs of eight-ounce juice bottles with UPC 0-78742-29655-5 and a “best if used by” date of Dec. 28, 2024. Consumers should discard the juice or return it for a refund.
6. Perdue Chicken Products
Perdue recalled 167,000 pounds of chicken products potentially contaminated with metal. The affected items include 22-ounce packages of Perdue Simply Smart Organics Breaded Chicken Breast Nuggets, 29-ounce packages of Perdue Chicken Breast Tenders, and 22-ounce packages of ButcherBox Organic Chicken Breast Nuggets, all with a “best if used by” date of 03/23/25 and establishment number “P-33944.”Consumers should return or discard the products.

7. Ground Cinnamon Powder
Several brands of ground cinnamon powder were recalled due to elevated lead levels. Affected products include Marcum, Supreme Tradition, Shahzada, and Spice Class Ground Cinnamon in various packaging sizes. Customers are urged to check the recall notices and return or discard the affected cinnamon.
8. Boar’s Head Deli Meats
Due to possible Listeria contamination, Boar’s Head recalled more than 200,000 pounds of deli meats, including liverwurst, Virginia Ham, Bologna, Beef Salami, and other products.
Consumers are advised to return or discard any of these items. Check the FSIS recall notice for product details, including weights and sell-by dates.
9. Al Safa Halal Chicken Products
Al Safa US recalled over 2,000 pounds of frozen halal chicken due to possible Listeria contamination. The affected products include boxes of Al Safa Halal Charcoal Grilled Chicken Seekh Kebabs and Chicken Chapli Kebabs with a “best by” date of Nov. 30, 2025. Consumers should return or discard these products.
10. Hudson Harvest Tomato Basil Pasta Sauce
Hudson Harvest recalled 16-ounce glass jars of Tomato Basil Sauce due to reports of swelling, leaking, and bursting jars, indicating potential spoilage. The affected jars bear lot number 1042426 and UPC 683720301567. Customers are advised to return or discard the sauce.
11. Wow Bao Thai-Style Curry Chicken Bao
Wow, Bao issued a health alert for its Thai-style curry Chicken Bao due to undeclared soy and sesame allergens. Though no longer available for purchase, consumers who still have the product should return or discard it.
12. Baraka Ground Black Pepper
Baraka brand Ground Black Pepper was recalled due to possible salmonella contamination. The recall applies to seven-ounce containers with UPC 8 22514 26626 6 and an expiration date of Jan. 2026. Consumers should return the pepper for a refund.
